Day 1: 02/11/2025
VIKING SHIP MUSEUM IN ROSKILDE
Such an amazing experience! Walking through this place feels like stepping back in time. You can really immerse yourself in Viking history and imagine what life was like centuries ago. Truly fascinating!⚓

Day 2: 03/11/2025
Such a good and sustainable idea!

Day 3: 04/11/2025
Today we visited the ARGO Energy Tower in Roskilde, Denmark. This impressive waste-to-energy plant transforms household waste into electricity and district heating for the local community. Its modern, rust-colored design makes it stand out in the landscape and shows how industry and sustainability can exist side by side. The visit was a great example of how technology can help protect the environment while creating something beautiful.

Day 4: 05/11/2025
Extreme cloudburst over Copenhagen in 2011 – а 100 year weather event. Climate changes will make it more normal in the future. In 2012 the Copenhagen Municipality made a plan for preparing the city against future cloudburst. It's a mix of big tunnel systems and local systems to handle the water.
Example of a local solution 1: SEB Bank Bymilen (City dune) Example of a local solution 2: The National Archive. These vast areas of land absorb water in such a way as to avoid possible flooding.

Day 5: 06/11/2025
Today 6th November 2025, we took a train from Copenhagen to Malmö, crossing the Øresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden. When we arrived, we walked around the city and visited Malmö’s city centre, especially the main square, Stortorget, and the nearby Lilla Torg, known for its cafés and old buildings. Then we went to Kungsparken, a large park near the centre with nice paths and gardens. After our walk, we went to eat in a market full of restaurants, the Malmö Saluhall. Some of us ordered a typical Swedish dish made of mashed potatoes, lingonberries, meatballs, and pickled cucumbers. After lunch, some people went shopping while others rested in the park. Later, we took the train back to Copenhagen. We stopped at a grocery store to buy a few things for dinner and then stayed at the hostel for the rest of the evening. We had dinner together and went out for a short walk around the city before going back to the hostel.

Day 6: 07/11/2025
Today we did a tour of the school. We discovered that at Greve Gymnasium there are a lot of solar panels. The whole roof is covered by these structures because there isn't much sunshine in Denmark so more panels are needed. The panels are used to convert the sunlight into energy. In a school like this, it is very important to produce clean energy and take care of the environment. The solar panels help reduce pollution and make the school more sustainable. It is a great inspiration and a great example for Italy.

Day 7: 08/11/2025
Last night we walked through the beautiful streets of Nyhavn, surrounded by colorful houses, Christmas lights, and the reflections on the water. The air was really cold, but the smell of food from the cafés, and the sound of people laughing and talking created such an amazing atmosphere. We stayed in a bar and had hot chocolate, while some of us ate some delicious churros. We spent a wonderful time chatting and enjoying our night out.

Day 8: 09/11/2025
Today we explored Copenhagen from a different perspective, taking a boat tour through the city’s most iconic canals and landmarks.
In the afternoon, the Danish girls who hosted us during our first days showed us some of their favorite places, where we took plenty of photos and shared great moments together.
We ended the day with a coffee in their company, chatting and laughing, surrounded by the city’s cozy, "hygge" atmosphere.
